Check out these great summer festival events:
Saturday 26th July
In the SNO!bar:
We've got some great DJs and live music lined up for you at night.
The night will be kicking off with some chilled out hip-hop beats from Subcity
Radio's DJ Darthfader.
Following that we've got some home-grown live hip-hop from Capitol 1212 feat. MC Profisee. These guys have just released their debut EP on Kool Kat records, check them
out before they blow up.
Next up is Hint who has released records on both Ninja Tune and Brighton's Tru Thoughts. He's
an excellent DJ who mixes up hip-hop with a healthy dose of funk and some huge
basslines. A frequent collaborator with and favourite DJ of Glasgow's own Boom
Monk Ben, high praise indeed!
In the headline slot we have a set from the amazing London 5-piece electro band
Devil's Gun. These guys will be wowing crowds at big festivals like V and Isle of Wight
this summer with their brand of hip-hop and reggae infused dance music. Check
them out at
www.myspace.com/devilsgun.
Bringing the night home we've got a bouncing set of ghetto-tech and fidget-house
from Bradley C, recently seen hosting Annie Nightingale and the Utah Saints at Sub Club for
the BBC Introducing tour (and from what we've heard, blowing the competition out
of the water!).
On the slope
In the afternoon we'll have the next leg of the most laid back freestyle competition
around, the TSA Showdown. A great opportunity to try out your skills in a relaxed and open competition
environment or just to check out some of the best local and national talent in
action.
After that we'll be opening the course up for a discounted freestyle session
late into the evening to allow everyone to hone their skills for less before they
head up to the bar for a superb night of beats and breaks.
Saturday 23rd August
In the SNO!bar
Saturday is a celebration of Scottish indie music with a local Battle of the Bands in the afternoon followed by sets from some of the country's best up and coming
indie acts.
So far the line-up includes Frightened Rabbit, Figure 5 and a DJ set from Radio 1's Vic Galloway but we should have some very exciting news on more acts in the next few days.
Saty tuned for more info!
Also... don't miss our exciting free workshops in Beakdance and DJ Skills
On the slope
Again, we have another leg of the exciting TSA Showdown Competition in the afternoon followed by discounted freestyle sessions, not to be missed.
Throughout the weekend we'll be offering various special deals on tobogganing
and lessons, further details of which will be announced soon. Check back for more info!
Sunday 24th August
In the SNO!bar
We start off the action on Sunday with a couple of crowd-pleasing tributes sets
from The Stereotonics and Oasish.
Following that, we've got a serious slice of original funk from Fife band Junkstar. These guys have got vocals, keys, guitars, trombone, turntables and of course,
funky bass, just waiting to make you get your groove on! Don't miss them.
We'll be rounding off the evening in emphatic style with a bouncing set of rip-roaring
ska from the epic 10-piece
Bombskare. There's little to rival the energy of this squad of brass-wielding mad-men,
check them out at
www.myspace.com/bombskare.
Also... don't miss our circus skills and african drumming workshops, perfect for keeping the whole family entertained.
On the slope
We'll have some great offers on taster lessons to get you started skiing or snowboarding
as well as some superb reductions on slope time for those already in the know.
Stay tuned for more details very soon!

summer as well as hosting the popular Dance Rocks events out in Ibiza. You can
